Requires DOH to establish, or contract to establish, statewide registry for specified purpose; requires certain licensed facilities to report specified information to department for inclusion in registry; provides that certain personal identifying information is confidential & exempt from public records requirements; requires department to exempt certain facilities from certain reporting requirements; requires certain licensed facilities to arrange for rendering of appropriate medical attention for persons at risk for certain conditions; specifies requirements for manner in which such facilities must provide such medical attention, including admission, training, & practice policies; revises requirements for certain annual inservice training for certified nursing assistants employed by nursing home facilities; revises training requirements for certain certified nursing assistants; revises minimum standards for care of residents in assisted living facilities; revises requirements for core competency test for administrators of assisted living facilities.
